It's Regatta Season!

Saturday, 22nd April 2017

Results update (22/04): well done all crews for a splendid day of racing with both one oar and two. Award for most exciting race of the day goes to Nik who got a dead heat in his first race! Sadly he was pipped to the post in the re-row. However, Christina and Kate made it through to the final in the women's double sculls, beating Thames in the first round by a length! They were beaten by some pesky and sprightly young schoolgals in the final, but not a bad result for a scratch crew!

FSC victorious at the 2016 Hammersmith Regatta!

We've made it through the winter and regatta season is finally here! Hammersmith Regatta takes place this Saturday, 22 April, and even better it's on home waters. We have EIGHT crews racing, from single sculls to eights, with races throughout the day. It would be great to have your support to cheer them all on (and help from club members to get crews boated and drinks served)!

The draw for FSC crews in their first round races is as follows. Crew lists are at the end:

9:02 Men's novice VIII "Gaillard"

9:06 Men's novice VIII "Dalziel"

9:52 Men's IM3 1x (Nik)

10:06 Women's novice 2x (Christina and Kate)

10:15 Men's IM3 VIII

10:38 Women's IM3 VIII

12:32 Men's novice 2x "Boston"

The racing goes on until 5:30pm so please do stick around in the afternoon to cheer FSC crews on all the way to the final stages!
