Start of season meetings

Sunday, 7th September 2014

The Furnivall men's and women's squads had their start of season meetings earlier this month. If you weren't able to attend but are still interested in rowing or coxing for either squad this season then it's not too late. At the moment we are only able to take people with previous experience in the sport. Please email the men's squad captain (Dan Jenkins, menscaptain@furnivall.org) or women's squad captain (Sarah Livermore, womenscaptain@furnivall.org) if you are interested.

It's an extremely exciting time to be a member of the Furnivall competitive squads. Our numbers are growing and we're aiming to develop all our athletes, whatever their level, to build on last year's achievements. We'll be taking part in a range of races, from the Tideway head races to Henley Royal / Henley Women's Regattas next summer. Come down to meet us and give us a try!

If you haven't rowed or coxed before but are keen to learn then we do run structured beginners courses each summer - the next one in being in 2015.
