Results update 18/03/2017
Well done to our three crews who all put in solid performances last weekend. The full results are now in and our girls came 95th (16th of 28 in intermediate club category), 203rd and 291st. Thanks to all those who captured photos too.
Particular congratulations to our novice crew who raced full Tideway head course for the first time and to 1st VIII member Jess Hartley who has done the full sweep of Tideway heads this season: scullers, pairs, fours, vets fours and now WEHoRR!
We look forward to see the crews in action at the forthcoming regattas - bring on the summer!
The penultimate Tideway head race takes place this Saturday with the Women's Eights Head of the River Race. We've got three crews racing - a combination of new members this year and home-grown talent including a novice crew from our Learn to Row course 2016.
Please do come down to support them if you can, they will really appreciate it. The bar will no doubt be open and of course we have the best cheering spot from our balcony, at that crucial mid-way point on the course!
The race starts at 3:30pm at Chiswick bridge, so #82 should pass FSC just before 4pm with #145 about 10 minutes after and #287 just after 4:30pm.
Good luck ladies!
