Hiring the club room

The Furnivall club room is available for private hire for our members.

The Furnivall club room is available for hire for our members for private functions, parties and meetings. The room, on the first floor of the club house, is large with French windows giving onto a south-facing balcony and magnificent views of the river Thames and Hammersmith Bridge. The room is decorated with rowing memorabilia and has a fully licensed bar.

The space can be used for a wide range of activities. From drinks parties with or without food, sit down lunch or dinner functions to receptions and meetings. You can set the room up to suit your function.

The bar is fully stocked with bottled beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks.  

The club room can hold around 60 people standing and 30 seated informally.

We have a small kitchen area for food preparations and bar staff are available if requested.

The club room may be decorated by the hirers with prior agreement. Bring your own MP3 player or iPod and chose your own playlist to play through our sound system.  

For meetings, we are equipped with free wifi access, we can provide you with tea and coffee making facilities and we also have an LCD projector for your presentations.
