Welcome to Furnivall
Furnivall Sculling Club is a competitive friendly rowing club based on the River Thames at Hammersmith, London. We welcome new members of all rowing, sculling and coxing abilities from complete beginner to experienced. There are a variety of groups catering for different levels of experience and commitment. We also enjoy a healthy social life with events throughout the year.
If you're moving to London to start a new job or simply looking to change clubs, then come and speak to us. We always welcome new members with rowing and / or coxing experience. Please read our reasons for joining to find out more or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a visit to the club.
The Port of London Authority has brought in a flag warning system which applies on the ebb tide only. This is due to the continuing number of serious incidents involving rowing during the current strong flows.
FSC requires all members to comply with the warning system and has provided additional rules which must be read and understood by all.
The club room on the first floor can hold around 60 people standing and 30 seated informally.
It has a fully licensed bar and magnificent views over the river.
The room is available for private hire.
River closure: Sunday 9 March 8:15 - 11:45 for Hammersmith Head
