Pots at Peterborough and Results from Met Regatta
Metropolitan Regatta
On 30 and 31 May our senior squads headed over to Eton Dorney to compete at Metropolitan Regatta, in preparation for Henley Women’s Regatta and Henley Royal Regatta.
On Saturday we had representation from both the men’s and women’s squads, entering Op4-, W4x and W2x. In the W2x, Penny and Bea had an excellent time trial, qualifying for the B final, just 3 seconds off the A final. A strong race later in the day saw them finish 3rd in the B final. Our W4x of Katie, Sophie, Rachel and Emily won their final, rounding out a good day for the squads.
The men’s squad returned for round two on Sunday, entering both Op4+ and Op4-. A good row from the 4+ saw them win their final, while the 4- put in a good performance despite some equipment issues.
Peterborough Spring Regatta
Over in Peterborough our development squad and some of our senior squad crews were out in force, racing across a variety of boat classes on Saturday.
Congratulations to Florence, Austin, Cian, Leon and Stuart for bringing home the win in Op4+ Band 1!
