At Furnivall Sculling Club, we take pride in being a welcoming and vibrant part of the community.

While rowing is at the heart of what we do, we are delighted to offer our clubhouse and bar for private hire, providing a unique riverside setting with balcony views of the Thames for your event.

Our clubroom is available for:

Daytime & evening celebrations & private parties
Daytime corporate meetings & training events
Children’s birthday parties

Our clubroom has standing room for up to 60 guests. Whilst we’re not able to seat everyone, we have sofas and chairs available, and you’re more than welcome to bring chairs of your own.
The Furnivall bar is able to supply wines, beers, cocktails and soft drinks for your event.
Alternatively, if you’d prefer to provide your own drinks, there is a corkage fee of £150 for wines.
Our bar opens from midday and has the following closing times:
Mon-Thur: 23:00
Fri-Sat: 23:30
Sun: 22:30
Whilst FSC does not cater for events, we can provide a list of recommended suppliers. Alternatively, we have a small kitchen available for use.
We have a music system available for use, and our very own disco ball for those who fancy a dance!
