Summer Regatta Roundup
Henley Town & Visitors Regatta
On 1 August, members of our Racing Squads and Sculling pack travelled out west to race at Henley Town & Visitors regatta.
There were standout results from Sam Rylands, winning Band 1 Open 1x - including a trophy from 1909 - and Penny and Bea winning Band 1 Women’s 2x following a photo finish with a strong Vesta / Marlow composite.
It was great to race down the famous Henley stretch once again. Thanks to Henley T&V for organising a great event!
Maidenhead Regatta
The following weekend our Racing and Development Squads travelled in force to Maidenhead Regatta to close out the 2025-26 season with some racing over their 500m course.
We saw strong results throughout the day, including a number of wins and close finishes. Congratulations in particular to our category winners:
Open Mas A/B 1x: Ben
Women’s Band 2 2x: Claire and Evelyn
Mixed 4x: Penny, Andrew, Josh and Bea
Women’s Mas A 2x: Penny and Bea
Open Mas A 4-: Andrew, Max, Pete and Paul
With our summer racing now complete, attention turns to the 2026-27 season which kicks off in a few weeks time. First up - Scullers Head!
